BIM EXECUTION PLANNING - ISO 19650
The workshop presents the process of BIM Execution Planning and the development of the BIM Execution Plan, BEP, in line with ISO 19650. The workshop demonstrates how the BEP can be used as a tool to provide a standardized workflow and general guidance for strategic BIM implementation for a particular BIM project.
Define BIM Execution Planning in line with ISO 19650
Understand the development of the BIM Execution planning process maps
Identify the purpose and structure of the BIM Execution Plan
Recognize the minimum requirements of the pre–BEP
Recognize the minimum requirements of the delivery team's BEP
VIRTUAL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The workshop provides an overview of the core steps of Building Execution Planning and the development of the BIM Execution plan, in line with the international standard ISO 19650. The BEP is the core document of the BIM Execution planning process and a plan that explains how the information management aspects of the appointment will be carried out by the delivery team. By developing a BIM Execution plan all parties clearly understand and communicate the strategic goals for implementing BIM on the project.
60 min teaching
30 min discussion and Q&A
Following the teaching session, the instructor will interact with the participants in a discussion that will guide the audience in developing efficient BIM Execution Plans.
WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR
The workshop is relevant to a large number of stakeholders, including:
BIM Managers who are responsible for the development of the BIM Execution Plan, in line with ISO 19650.
Construction industry professionals, such as engineers, contractors and supply chain, working on a BIM-based project - who need to undrestand what information is included in the BEP and for what purpose.
